It’s almost time for the day of LOVE... which means in addition to Cupid’s arrows, we also have a lot of expectations flying around about what to do with our significant other this Valentine's Day.
With Valentine's Day coming up, I created a helpful guide for planning the perfect date based on your partner's Enneagram type. To gather some ideas I asked my Instagram followers for their suggestions and here are a few of my favorite recommendations for each type:
The consensus among Type 1s is they don't want to plan it! However, they're still going to want it a certain way. So maybe ask them what their expectations are, but do the detailed planning (reservations, gifts, etc.) on your own so they don't have to worry about logistics.
Safe to say that quality time is the best place to focus your energy this Valentine's Day. ♥️ It's definitely the way to a Type 2's heart.
From the responses I got on Instagram, it seems like 3s have a wide variety of ideal dates. But the majority have this in common: they want to do something and they want it to bring enjoyment and fun.
If there's one consistent thing about Type 4s, it's authenticity. Plan a date that is unique and true to them, whether that be an aura reading, painting each other, or a room full of candles.
A good bet for a Type 5 is to do something intimate (no crowds please) AND engage the intellect.
A lot of responses for Type 6 asked for "No surprises." They like to have a plan and feel secure. It's not that 6s don't want to be spontaneous; they just need a roadmap for that spontaneity so they can feel safe to relax and have a good time.
There were SO many interesting date ideas from our bright & lively 7s. Make sure to make the day feel special and cater to their sense of FUN! Make a memory together.
Intentional, quality time is the key to a meaningful Valentine's Day with your Type 8. Put the phone away and really listen to each other.
Some keywords for Type 9s: low key, cozy, and home. If you're going to do a fancy dinner, try picking a day that's NOT February 14th. That way, you can avoid the crowds, and enjoy a more peaceful experience together.
I hope this helps you love your partner better.
Wishing you all a Happy Valentine's Day!
